Elementary School

Elementary School (Pre – Grade 5) provides a well-balanced American curriculum and extracurriculars in a dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to experience new things while building the foundational skills necessary for academic success.

Middle School

The curriculum at Middle School (Grades 6 – 8) is designed to meet the unique academic, artistic, physical, creative, and emotional development needs of students in a dynamic learning environment, offering a well-balanced American curriculum and extracurricular activities.

(14 – 17 years old)

High School

High School (Grades 9 – 12) provides a well-balanced American curriculum and extracurriculars in a dynamic learning environment, which helps the student meet the academic, athletic, social, artistic, and technological challenges of higher education.

Students thrive in a friendly and safe learning environment with a school health system that meets the standards for school health safety and emergency response procedures.

Food & Nutrition
School meals are the main source of energy for students to carry out their daily activities. Meals are prepared onsite daily in a modern and fully equipped catering kitchen.

Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus service of PennSchool is built based on safety criteria as well as optimizing the selection of routes, helping facilitate transportation for students and shorten their travel time. Our school bus system provides a wide range of pick-up/ drop-off locations throughout in every district to suit parents’ choices.

Learning Support
The program is designed for students who need additional assistance in the classroom. For cases where students cannot improve their academic performance to their inability to fully understand the English language or are struggling with the content in their subjects, PennSchool will provide support services (Peer Tutors, Cross-Age Tutoring, and Teacher Tutoring) to help students improve their school performance.

FACILITIES

ADMISSION PROCESS

AT PENNSCHOOL

Consultation

Parents and students will be consulted about the learning programs, admission process, facilities, extracurricular activities, admission requirements, school rules, fees, transportation, and summer courses based on the official policies of PennSchool and the Vietnam Minister of Education and Training (MOET).

Entrance Exams

Students of all grade levels, when registering for the IAP program, will take an entrance exam and undergo an interview with the School Counsellor.

  • The International American Program: The entrance exam will be an interview with foreign teachers.
  • The Vietnam – American Integrated Bilingual Program: The entrance exam will be an interview with Vietnamese and foreign teachers.

Students of all grade levels, when registering for the entrance exam, will undergo an interview with the School Counsellor.

  • The Vietnam – American Integrated Bilingual Program:

+ Prospective students will take a paper test in bilingual and an interview in English. The paper test will examine students’ proficiency in English, Mathematics, and Literature (in Vietnamese). •

+Duration: 2 – 3 hours

+Exam Date: Please contact the Admissions Department to receive an appropriate entrance exam schedule.  The International American Program: +Prospective students will take a paper test in English and an interview in English. The paper test will examine students’ proficiency in Mathematics and English.

Admission Results

Parents will be notified by the School, typically either of the results or a Letter of Offer within a minimum of 3 to 5 working days, based on the exam results along with the comments received from the Academic Council.

  • Once you receive a Letter of Offer, Parents must submit the Admission Fee within 5 days for enrollment confirmation and seat reservation for your child.
  • Please contact the Admissions Office for the enrollment guide, information, and forms.
